How Feng Shui can bring wealth, prosperity, and even new business!

Kim has two businesses, a dance studio and a company that does casting for the film industry. She initially wanted to find out more about Feng Shui for help with decorating ideas, so she attended one of my workshops. She discovered that Feng Shui is about more than just decorating. She tells this story in her own words:

"When I first moved into my home, I attended your seminar on Feng Shui in the hopes that I would get a tip or two for decorating. I didn't know much about Feng Shui, but I knew I wanted my home to 'feel good.'

I truly loved some rooms in my home and strongly disliked others - including my bedroom. The wallpaper was dark and uninviting. I never had a full bedroom set of furniture that matched, or that I liked, and the colors were those I would personally never choose, but I thought of as safe/neutral colors for a bedroom, which weren't too feminine.

Things were not great financially, and I kept wondering if I was making a mistake spending the money on the room, but I kept at it - thinking it was a good thing. Since work was slow, I had the time to get it done. I took a lot of care and love in re-doing my bedroom, making it my little hide-away, with my favorite colors of purple and yellow.

As I was hand-painting the trim design, I received a phone call asking me if I would be interested in interviewing to cast an international film. I was so excited! I had been casting for a few years, but seldom does a movie come to our city - especially an international feature film - so, of course I said I was interested! I was told I would receive a phone call in a couple of days to set an interview.

Three days went by, and I heard nothing. Then I realized - my bedroom! It's not finished! I stayed up all night long to finish it.

The next day, I put on my new bedspread, put out my new lush rug alongside the bed and hung the new curtains and wall hangings. As I was rinsing out the paint brushes, the phone rang. It was the production company - they heard so many good things about me, they didn't feel the need for an interview - would I mind taking the job, and how much did I charge?!! (My bedroom was part of my wealth bagua)."
